This is a trekking-oriented mountain park with steep terrain, limited barrier-free infrastructure, and weather-dependent access.
Khirganga National Park stretches across a large Himalayan landscape in Himachal Pradesh's Parvati valley, where steep forested slopes rise toward alpine meadows and higher ridges. The park is associated with trekking routes above Kasol and Barshaini, but its conservation value lies in a much wider mountain ecosystem of conifer forest, rivers, and wildlife habitat.
