Madhav is easier than deep-core safari parks because it is close to Shivpuri and mostly road-based, but heat, long drives, and limited on-site infrastructure still require planning.
Madhav National Park lies around Shivpuri in northern Madhya Pradesh and combines dry deciduous forest, open grassland, rocky ground, and the scenic Sakhya Sagar and Madhav Sagar lakes. The park was once a royal hunting reserve and remains known for its easy road access, bird-rich wetlands, antelope habitat, and a landscape that feels distinct from the denser tiger forests farther south in the state.
