Basic Information

About This Park

Marine National Park in the Gulf of Kachchh protects coral reefs, mangroves, sandy beaches, mudflats, creeks, and islands off Gujarat's Jamnagar coast. Unlike forest parks, the visitor experience here depends on tides: during low tide, guided intertidal walks reveal corals, sponges, sea anemones, crabs, mollusks, and marine algae. Narara is a popular access point, while island visits require additional permission and careful planning.
