Mollem National Park forms the core of the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary in eastern Goa. The park protects moist deciduous and semi-evergreen Western Ghats forest, streams, and hill slopes near the Karnataka border. Dudhsagar Falls is the most famous attraction in the wider sanctuary landscape, while forest trails, butterflies, birds, and herpetofauna reveal a side of Goa far from the coast.
