About This Park

Namdapha National Park protects one of India's largest and wildest forest landscapes, stretching from lowland tropical rainforest near the Noa-Dihing River to high ridges of the eastern Himalaya. This dramatic elevation range supports exceptional biodiversity, including tiger, leopard, clouded leopard, and snow leopard habitat in one protected area. The park is remote, humid, and adventurous, with Deban near Miao serving as the main base for forest walks, birding, and multi-day treks.
