Nawegaon National Park protects a scenic blend of woodland, lake, and wetland-edge habitat in Vidarbha. The park is especially noted for Navegaon Bandh, a large water body that shapes its character and makes it attractive for birding, softer wildlife travel, and short protected-area trips in eastern Maharashtra.
