There is no standard instant safari portal. Confirm entry, guides, and community stay arrangements through Meghalaya tourism/forest contacts before traveling to the Garo Hills.
Access requires hill-road travel and walking on uneven forest trails. Visitors with mobility constraints should confirm vehicle reach, trail difficulty, and accommodation before travel.
Nokrek National Park protects the core of the Nokrek Biosphere Reserve in Meghalaya's Garo Hills. The area is famous for wild citrus genetic diversity, including Citrus indica, and for forested hills that support hoolock gibbons, macaques, elephants, clouded leopards, hornbills, and many forest birds.
