The park is remote, road travel is long, and walking routes can be steep or muddy. Visitors with mobility constraints should treat it as a viewpoint-based trip only if local road access is confirmed.
Phawngpui National Park, also called Blue Mountain National Park, protects the high Phawngpui massif in southern Mizoram. The mountain is the state's highest peak and is known for blue-toned ridges, steep cliffs, grasslands, orchids, rhododendrons, bamboo, and birdlife including Mrs. Hume's pheasant and other hill species.

Lengpui Airport near Aizawl is the main air gateway to Mizoram.
Rail access is limited; most visitors travel onward by road from Assam/Mizoram gateways.
