Mountain roads, steep terrain, and trekking-based access make Singalila challenging for visitors needing barrier-free travel.
Singalila National Park runs along the high ridge west of Darjeeling on the India-Nepal border, combining rhododendron forest, bamboo, alpine viewpoints, and one of the Himalaya's classic trekking corridors. It is especially known for views toward Kanchenjunga and as an important habitat for red panda and high-elevation birdlife.
